    Wow... there are several things wrong with that and I don't think that the punishment fit the crime what so ever. Additionally, if the school did not follow it's own protocol, (male v. female) it is just a massive invitation for legal action.

    I have mixed feelings on the whole punishment thing in schools, but I do not think that this level of punishment is ever acceptable. Frankly, I don't even know where my line would be drawn, but it would be miles from what happened here.
    Invest in the things today, that provide the returns tomorrow.

    Even taking the corporal punishment thing out of it this story is really creepy. Really creepy.
