    Midwesterner on the West Coast

    Hello,

I live in Ashland, Oregon, but I came from Iowa, where I also received by planning education. I work in Medford doing long-range planning, but I'm keenly hoping to return to the Midwest or to try out the eastern seaboard someday.

My interest areas are urban form and health and the built environment. But what keeps me going is good food, booze, and Mystery Science Theater.

—John (should we use our real names? How does this work?)

In time, people figure you out at laefests and such so keep the real name to a minimum - and welcome from the lakes region of western Maine!

Welcome from the Great State of Ohio (the heart of the Midwest). Glad to have you.
