Dan- my guess is the owner of that may very well resemble an old shaggy.

There's definitely somebody tied up in the back of that van.

If that were the case the van would be painted psychodelic colors and would have a fridge and a huge ash tray. No, I expect by now Dan is either already taking a 9mm dirt nap or will be featured as the leading story on the 6:00 news.

I'm afraid its too late for Dan, but let us honor the courage he showed in the final hour by spending his last few moments sharing a picture of the suspect's van with the rest of us so that we might spare ourselves his fate if we see that van pulling up into our respective city halls.

People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

That is the most normal car I've seen posted from the land of rusted-out Subarus and Volvos! Its a shame it sticks out like a sore thumb.

I think it's the FBI monitoring van - inside is a very sophisticated listening and cyber system filled with guys with pocket protectors who end up being distracted by the co-eds walking by and don't see anything you are doing

wait, is that a black helicopter overhead?

This is Dan showing us his new home. He's planning a profanity laced meltdown work. Then rant will include such gems as:!@#$% new urbanism, !@#$ Duany, !@#%$^%^$$@ cyburbia, !@##$^^&^%#$ grey-haired women and wanna-be hippies. He's taking his dogs, hooking up with a senorita, and living under a bridge in the thing.

The memorial is for dan's career. He's had enough and he's packing it all in. He just bought his dream ride, a blue kidnapper van, and he's going to finally realize his dream of traveling across the tri-state area selling his hemp jewelry at farmers' markets. If you need to find, just look for his van - parked down by the river.

Memorials don't always have to be sad, somber affairs. Congratulations, Dan. You're living the dream.

Thats not actually a kidnapper van because it has the side windows. I should know- my 1978 blue van has no windows. Coincidentally, clubbbbbbbbe me now or Dan gets it!!

Hey my dad used to have a van similar to that. His was an '83 model. Used to go on road trips in it as a kid.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

Some sandpaper, a half dozen cans of Rustoleum, and you have one sweet ride there.

You should have gotten a picture from the other side - I'm pretty sure there's a sign posted advertising free candy.
