    1. I slept 8 hours last night. Better than the 3.5 hours the night before.
    2. I'm not fired.
    3. It's a nice day out, I need to go visit some construction sites.
    4. I don't work late anymore because my other half is taking night classes now.

    - I have a meeting tonight. I am not ready for it yet.
    - I am trying to eat better. It makes me hungry.

    1. My friend who was in a coma died over the weekend
    2. I got a slightly harassing anonymous email about a court case with my previous town
    3. I have a very controversial meeting tonight that I have to run becasue the town manager is sick
    4. I am very lonely living here this week
    5. I have way too much work to do and yet here I am

    1. Know-it-alls are super annoying.
    2. Hubby and I were supposed to go to NYC yesterday but because we were concerned about the weather decided to go to Scranton and Ithaca instead.
    3. I had leftover gnocchi for lunch. Yum!
    4. I just submitted my leave request for my knee surgery.
    5. Hubby and I have an appointment with the adoption social worker in a few weeks.

    1. just finished curry soup for lunch (gotta keep my figure)
    2. just found out I have an extended learning curve with the new commissioners
    3. I can't think of what to put on the new commissioner orientation (where to start)
    4. Like Raf, why do I worry about my figure, I'm married.
    5. I'm to new at my current job to have any vacation time saved up and I already need it.
    I don't pretend to understand Brannigan's Law. I merely enforce it.

    1. I really really really really really hate CDBG. The juice is so not worth the squeeze for the little bit of entitlement we get in my city.
    2. Ordering online from Chipotle and then waltzing in and picking up my order while the line is out the door makes me smile.
    3. I 'm facilitating a session at 4:30 today for a stragetic planning discussion with a community group and have no backup info yet.
    4. If it wasn't for the last minute nothing would ever get done.
    5. I have three flash drives but never at the same time: lose one, find one, lose one, find one, repeat the cycle . . . . .

    1. The "Captain" attended the Board hearing this morning displaying his patents for Gulf oil spill clean-up system and asteroid protection system.
    2. The "Captain" goes before the code enforcement board next month for storing his inventions in his front yard.
    3. The neighbors who oppose the proposed boat ramp are not giving-up.
    4. Leftover lasagna for dinner tonight.
    5. The house improvements in response to the termite inspection are starting to amp up with the purchase of 145 square feet of new tile to refinish our shower.

    1. Played golf today and the greens went from frozen to wet to sloppy to fast.
    2. Donovan McNabb was eating breakfast at the same restuarant I was at. I felt bad when people went up to him and ask for a picture. He is retired, let him eat his eggs.
    3. One of the boards I staff was supposed to have a meeting on Thursday that I did not prepare for so I get to reschedule it
    4. I feel that my duties as assigned are rarely as important as the other duties that are assigned...honestly I like itthat way
    5. One of the side effects of my little brother's chemo is anus itching...I wonder how that would sound as a side effect on TV

    1. I spent 3 hours working on compliance reports that are way past due. Copy, paste, robosign!
    2. I spent 4 hours at the fiscal office with my accountant getting to the figures we needed to entirely draw down the remaining grant funds from the city.
    3. I was late getting home so my other half was a little late for his class
    4. The baby ate two potato wedges and a ginger/garlic spiced turkey kebab for dinner. She chowed it down, I hope it doesn't come back to haunt in the middle of the night.
    5. I like having mommy & baby only time in the evenings since the man is taking night classes.

    1. I failed to post on this thread while it was Tuesday
    2. I guess it doesn't alter the fabric or reality or the fate of the universe if I post on it today, even though it is not Tuesday
    3. If everything that moves is alive, wouldn't that mean the entire universe is alive?
    4. I don't really have fond memories of Kukla, Fran, and Ollie...just neutral memories (I recall as a kid watching the 'Saturday Children's Film Festival' on tv and thinking who the heck are these guys?)
    5. When I was a kid I did not really know what a 'film festival' was and thought it odd how they always used to show foreign films on that show
    People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

    Are you allowed to pump your own air in NJ?

    3. a we got an 8 inch layer of powder last night and are expecting a lot more later this week. Winter has finally arrived

    2. I grew up in an Irish Catholic family so that explains a lot
    3. Calling a bluff and watching panic isn't as entertaining as it used to be

    1. I'm really glad I do not to live in the community I work for because it came in handy this weekend for a situation that arose.
    2. Having a low population to staff level ratio is good until you want us to start doing more.
    3. I really hope it is not one of those 5 days of work in 4 days kind of week because of the holiday
    4. It is cold today, will barely get above freezing! I am glad that it is sunny though, make the cold not so bad.
    5. Just found out another good friend of mine is preggo. That's 2 babies and one wedding this year so far (and its only January)

    1. I have "pipeline safety training" today. How boring is that?
    2. Went to a dinner party at my parents' on Sunday and I've never felt like more of an outsider.
    3. My middle daughters have perfected that cup song routine from Pitch Perfect.
    4. School was out yesterday so I heard that cup song routine. Heard it a lot.

    2. All I get at my meetings are the I don't understand so don't do anything Agenda 21 crowd (we ignore them)
    3. Took the kids to see a T-Rex skeleton. They are now dinosaur crazy.
    4. Real estate in this place is crazy, it's all based on the county appraiser's number.
    5. I hope it snows one more time before the Spring gets here.
