Patrick Carroll, MSc, R.P.P., MCIP (PE, Canada)

    Hello
I am full member with the API here in Atlantic Canada and am currently working as a policy planner with the provincial government. I look forward to participating in this valuable professional tool. My interests are many, but, more specifically, have been attracted to concepts such as local economic multiplication, local food systems, form-based coding, community asset mapping, suburban repair. I consider myself to be part of a new generation of planning, focused on reviving the urban and rural experience through both site, municipal and regional planning techniques as my primary professional goal.

    Hello, from Dallas, TX!!
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011
