    Sasksaab

i am sasksaab. i hail from the north, but i do not live in a wigwam. i was born in a granary after a three day skidoo journey. planning forums entice me like a roaring hearth seen from afar through frosty eyelashes. i own several pairs of snowshoes (for specific snow conditions of course). i reside in a place nearby “Saskatchatoon” called “Saskatoon”.
As suggested by others, i have seen counter-intelligence up close, although mostly in council meetings.

Welcome from the Queen City of the Rockies, under the Big Sky, in the Last Best Place. I too live in the north but not as far north as you. I too do not live in a wigwam, though the local high school down the road has a teepee erected currently.

Sent from my office computer. I am a Luddite, so I don't have one of them new-fangled cellular phone and WiFi (I do have a WiFe), My phone sits on my desk attached to a cord and doesn't take pictures or surf the Internet.

Welcome, Sasksaab! I hail from the south, and I also do not live in a wigwam, nor even a pueblo (nor a Saab), though I am in the desert. Like RJ, I also own several pairs of flip flops for varied sand conditions. I reside in a place named after a bird that rose from the ashes, called "Phoenix". I enjoy your avatar of a possessed looking cat enticed by what appears to be a goldfish cracker or something.

    Welcome!

Even though it’s only Thursday I’m calling it anyway, this is the best sentence of the week.

Welcome from along the northshore of the Ohio River, east of the Wabash River, and in the Central Time Zone.
Around here we had Mound Houses.

How is this for an extremely thin tangential connection to Saskatchewan ?

My Grandfather served with the 5th Battalion (Western Cavalry), CEF during WW 1 and that regiment is now perpetuated by the North Saskatchewan Regiment.

Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?
