If you're a FB user, Bear is Michael F. Raczko. Several of us are friends with him, and the tracks will lead you to Kathy. I'm sure she would appreciate reading anything you'd care to type.

Wow. I'm actually quite emotional right now.

Kicking myself in the ass for never meeting up with BUN at a Stanfest. Stupid me.

Awful news. I recommend we rename a portion of Cyburbia after the Bear. I have no words...

I'm so sad. I feel like I just lost a member of my family.

"Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."

I am sorry I don't have any words beyond what has been said above.

most of all I had fun talking about De Noc, reading about Michigan - the UP and the Great Lakes, and his two winning submittals to to Banned Word List from LSSU.

This is incredibly sad. Bear contributed so much to our group. He was loved by all and will be missed.

Oh, no. I am truly sad. Rest in peace, Bear... Michael.

I never met him, yet I felt like I knew him, because he shared so much with us.

Having met Mike several times in person I am feeling his loss most keenly. Katie, if you are reading this please know our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

This is very sad news indeed. Bear was/is part of our cyburb family. Not a planner, but a intregal part of this existence. I will be raising a couple of Rolling Rocks in his honor tonight. He and Katie are in our prayers. RIP brother Michael

Maybe the new title for the annual Random Thoughts could be called "The Bear Report" ... maybe not, just a thought.
