    Pinnacles

The pinnacle of cars with fins - 1957 Chevrolet
The pinnacle of 1990's news events - the dissolution of the USSR
pinnacle of grunge rock - 'Alive' Pearl Jam
pinnacle of 2008 Presidential campaign buzzwords - "maverick"
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

    Wha?!

I thought it was stains on blue dresses and the sordid details in the Starr Report about the POTUS.

I stand corrected. Blide's nomination is far more impressive

There is West Virginia Pinnacle State Park which would be easier to visit.

Would the Twin Peaks chain be as successful if they had named it Twin Pinnacles?

There is a Pinnacle Peak nearby to me, but it's not nearly as impressive as the one Blide posted. The nearby Pinnacle Peak Restaurant serves good steaks, though!

I thought it was an "affordable" golf ball.
