I'm worried about the closer situation. I don't know that I trust Smyly to get the job done and opening day in Minnesota wasn't helping his case.

I watched the D-backs opener last night. I don't think they are going to be that bad.
They have 38 games against the Giants and Dodgers, a questionable starting rotation and . They will be able to score runs but you can't outslug everyone. Given this it will be tough for them to win 80+ games. Of course the NL West has be notoriously difficult to predict the past several years.
Plus I think the Cardinals are in decline...but I have been saying that for the past few years and they always find a way to win.
