So is it popular vote or electoral college?

Not fast enough, I filed a FOIA request. Here are the Chads. Glad to be of service.

electoral college of course. You don't honestly think we'd actually trust the abilities of an average Cyburbian to make their own decisions concerning who to vote for, do you?
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

There's certainly nothing popular about this vote.

Well I make a motion for forfeiture of your votes, ergo, I get your votes, ergo, I win. What do you say about that?

What do I say about that? I say it's time I had my lawyers file another motion. This time to set aside any preliminary order for forfeiture of all votes, chattels, torts, malfeasance, and stuff, ex post facto. And I doubt any of your ACLU lawyers even understand what that means!

With 22% of precincts reporting in for the state of Maine, we have the following results....Mastiff- 100%. No votes for any other candidates. Sorry.
Canada is a place of infinite promise. We like the people, and if one ever had to emigrate, this would be the destination, not the U.S.A. The hills, lakes and forests make it a place of peace and repose of the mind, such as one never finds in the U.S.A.

That's another reason for a voter photo id law. All those Maritimer snowbirds sneaking down into Maine for the balmy winters and then stuffing the ballot boxes.

My lawyers drew this up for you to sign...

I give you all and singular, my estate and interest, right, title, claim and advantage of and in those votes, with all its chads, and all right and advantage therein, with full power to enjoy, and otherwise win, or give the same away as fully and effectually as I the said A.B. am now entitled to enjoy, or otherwise win the same votes, or give the same away, with or without chads, anything hereinbefore, or hereinafter, or in any other deed, or deeds, instrument or instruments of what nature or kind soever, to the contrary in any wise, notwithstanding.

Please sign over your votes herewith shortly.

I graciously concede and release all my electors to vote as their conscience directs them.

Phwew! This was a hard fought and in the end close election here in the FAC!

Well, except for the part about it being 'fought' or that it was 'close'. Oh yeah, and also the whole there being an 'election' thing was kind of not true either.

I just wanted to give a speech. I am glad we had this election over pretty much nothing. You sir are a true patriot.

Well upon closer scrutiny, it appears no actual votes were cast. It also appears I am nothing more than a sock puppet. Sorry.

I hate to break it to you, CP, but we already knew that.
