Gift is purchased. The longer I wait, the more my victim will get. So the question is,victim, how anxious are you to receive your gift???

Delay of a day! Sick today; hopefully mail tomorrow. I get really anxious when I don't meet deadlines.

Wow, way more organized than I am!

Completed only Steps 1-3. Started Step 4 and hope to complete this weekend. Then Steps 5 & 6 next week. Will ship north via the brown van guys, so should be received before 12/25/12.

4 - local themed items. Recipient's info list was not very helpful. We need to come up with a better list of questions.
    5 - done
6 - done - HINT - eastward. USPS said delivery on/after monday. That's soon enough.

Shipped to somwhere north and east of me by the USPS. A caution to my SS victim, there are 3 parts that have to be shipped seperately. The 3 are independent of each other and don't need each other, but you may not get them all at the same time.

I am just finishing up my package.... so it will most likely ship out early next week....

I just received my package from Planit!! Very excited to get some sweet BBQ sauce and beer. I tried both last night and I must say... top notch. As for the letter with the ugly drawings... I cannot approve of such filth

    Thanks!!!

You're quite welcome. I'm glad nothing broke this time right?

I received my gift this afternoon, thanks so much ZG and RJ!!! The goodies include:
    • The Columbian Restaurant Spanish Cookbook - I can't wait to sit down and read through this and make some meal plans! I love that most of them seem pretty relatively easy too.
    • 2013 Sugar bowl t-shirt (perfect, because Lord knows MSU isn't going to anything worth watching.....
    • A pair of the infamous slippers - which I may, or may not have been wearing for the last hour of work

Thank you so much you guys, love everything!!

And as far as my recipient, I bought the first of 3 (hopefully) gifts today, hope to get it sent out early next week.

    Now steps 8, 9, & 10 are done

Yesterday in my mail , I got a notice to pick up a parcel at the PO,
Today I went to pick it up and it was from KMS.

Opened it and there was -

    A Christmas card,
A packet of picture note cards,
    A regifted magazine,
2 very nice candy cane stripped wrapped gifts,
A coffee mug - who can use a new one ? Who has a sublimation one ?
    and
the book I most wanted - Victory At Yorktown by Newt Gingrich

    THANK YOU VERY MUCH KMS
    Where is the sweet smile

So I did not at all get stiffed nor did I stiff another Cyburbian.
Thank You LP for this year's Secret Santa.

    Whose Yur Planner:

Thanks for the SS gifts! We received the card which was waiting for me on Saturday when I got home from a business trip. The rest came Saturday afternoon. At first I didn't put 1 and 1 together and thought you were just being nice sending out Christmas Cards to fellow cyburbians.

I will get a picture as soon as I get some space in my office.... but I'm amazed the treats have not been opened .... yet, but they likely won't make it till Christmas.

    Thanks again and Merry Christmas!

You are welcome. They won't allwo you to put cards in boxes with the gifts. You have to mail them seperately. I was kinda concerned about one of the gifts-a calendar. However, it is by a local artist and other cyburbs have gotten samples of her work in the past. You should pull up her website. Plus, you gotta love one the name of one of the snacks.

I do, and you can't go wrong with a calendar. I work at home but my walls are pretty bare right now. It will find a home next to my desk as soon as it uncurls.

Well, upon tracking my package, I mistyped the street address and some other person was the recipient of my gift. After trying to talk with the USPS, I gave up and reordered.... it still will arrive before Christmas.

As an update from my side of the deal. I have 2 of 3 items purchased and after visiting several downtown stores and the airport gift shop I gave up on item #3 but will be replacing with an equal or greater variety. Should be mailed out Wed, possibly in time for Christmas, but if not I'm sorry you can blame my travel schedule in December.
