No rush. I realized this week that she's been with me half her whole life.
She's really fun, although still biting. When I sit down, she gets onto my lap. Crawls under the covers in bed. Snuggles like a champ. Follows me around, especially to the rooms with plumbing. When I'm at the kitchen sink, she tries to climb one leg to see what I'm doing.

My neice's family lost their dog a couple weeks ago. I see from the Facebook that they now have a new cat.
Anyone want to adopt a dog?
One of my cats was fascinated with flushing toilets, to the point that when she saw somebody go into the bathroom, she ran for the door to get inside with them in hopes of catching the swirling water in the bowl. Luckily, she never fell in.

Yesterday I was looking at these adorable pet costumes, and a hat with elf ears really stood out. (Too big, waste of money. I can make it for $1.) Got to thinking about her elfin, pixie-ish nature. "Pixie" is cute, goes well with "kitty," lots of rhyming potential. Pixie wixie trixie, bo bixie. Root: pixel (grabs her tech savvy).
Then Wikipedia nailed it:
Pixies...are mythical creatures of folklore...That's her.
In traditional regional lore, they are generally benign, mischievous, short of stature and attractively childlike; they are fond of dancing and gather outdoors in huge numbers to dance, or sometimes wrestle, through the night...
Now I just need to start calling her that, rather than Youbaby.

There's a cat breed known as pixie-bobs. They're essentially a cross between a bobcat and a house cat.
And their photos look a whole lot like my new alarm clock. Good find!

Whatever you name the cat, it won't come when you call anyway!
And as suggested by T.S. Eliot, all cats have more than one name, including the secret name the cat shares with no one else.
Our cat T-Joe is also known as Cat Bastard, The Joker (to my Batman) and Nemesis. He's an incorrigible cat and I love that about him.
