    The final countdown

    It's the final countdown...

So we've all got about three and a half weeks before Doomsday and I was just wondering how you planned to spend your final days here on earth? Anyone got plans for a massive looting and pillaging spree while there's still time? Anyone booked their tickets to Antarctica?

There are a few celebratory limited edition ales in the beer fridge to drink for the event.

I will be driving over Da Bridge into da UP on dat dare day ya know Eh'. I doubt there will be much, if any, issues in the US. There will be a fringe extremest who will go crazy, but I think the rest of us will go on doing what we do.

We didn't really need it, but we received a crock pot/slo-cooker as a gift last year and have never used it. I think we will make a point use it sometime over the next few days to make some chili, or beef stew, or chicken w/ dumplings while we still have the opportunity.

Oh, and I will also make a point this week to re-watch some of my favorite old beer commercials while I can

I'm trying to plan ahead. What time does the world end on the 22nd? Does it start at 12am in Kiribati and work its way west as the clock hits midnight in various locations?

I'm going to drain my wife's trust fund and our retirement accounts and live like kings for the next few weeks. You can't take it with you...

I plan to buy a super tricked out fallout shelter. You know with all my money.

I do not believe that the world will end, only that civilization will collapse, taking most people with it. I plan to survive holed up in my basement, surrounded by guns and jars of canned green beans.

Is it just me, or was Europe too preeny/glam-rock to be singing about such a harrowing thing as nuclear holocaust?

IMHO Megadeth strikes a more appropriate tone for such a theme:

I'm pretty sure the hottie up the street is open to end-of-the-world desperation sex.
