In the United States,, there's two major standards for green building certification: the NAHB ICC 700 National Green Building Standard, and USGBC LEED for Homes, Each has different levels of certification; LEED with certified, silver, gold and emerald; ICC 700 with bronze, silver, gold and platinum.

I'm working on a quick and dirty fix to my environmentally hyper-aware community's antiquated cluster development regulations, and considering density bonuses for green building, among other things. Are LEED for Homes and ICC 700 roughly equivalent? Are the various levels of certification roughly equivalent?
