    Frosty the Red-nosed Angel

    What are your favorite winter holiday songs? There are too many to list on a poll.

    My wintry favorites are, in no particular order:

    1. Baby, It's Cold Outside - I enjoy the repartee between the singers.
    2. White Christmas - Can't go wrong with Bing. This is also one of my favorite winter movies.
    3. Santa Baby - I enjoy the creativity of the lyrics.
    4. Angels We Have Heard on High - This is a favorite because in church my mom really has fun playing with the vocals and as a kid it was so much fun to have my mom be silly in church.
    5. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - Just a fun song to sing.

    Awesome list. I would add in "I'll be home for Christmas" and "Winter Wonderland" to the list.

    My favorite Xmas song is "The Christmas Song," sung by Nat King Cole. "Must be Santa," by Bob Dylan is great too. I enjoy "The Twelve Days of Christmas" up to about the sixth day, then it gets old fast. "Silent Night" is lovely. "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" is fun.

    Also have always loved "O Holy Night".

    Oh yeah and my absolute favorite is the Partridge Family, "Christmas Card"

    I've always thought that Joy to the World being sung at the conclusion of a candlelight Christmas Eve service was one of life's beautiful moments. Just seems to be such a feeling of hope and good feelings at that point.

    Sleigh Ride is also a tune I enjoy a lot, particularly when played by a whole orchestra.
