Haha, Hello everyone!
Though I've lurked for years, it has only been recently I've felt compelled to participate openly in various online forums.
I don't have a good excuse - these forums are absolutely essential for hearing about changing landscapes in planning all over the world (pun intended?!). I have learned, albeit slowly that being part of the discussion helps foster personal and professional enhancement. I'm really looking forward to actively engaging you all!
I'm from Toronto and have my Bachelor of Planning from Ryerson University. I've been working in land development for about 6 years. I also have some broad experience in government relations having worked for the Canadian Federal Government, a Business Improvement Area in downtown Toronto and a local Developer's Association in a relations role.
I'm hoping to gain ideas and information relating to public/stakeholder/government relations and this fields' impact on planners/municipalities/developers/stakeholders/etc.
Many thanks!
