Drinking a ghost pepper bloody mary before I switch to some celebratory ale. Soaked a few flakes of a ghost pepper in some stoli overnight. Holy crikies this is spicy!!!

Not me! I had pizza with a single glass of wine and watched movies. Heading for bed in a few minutes.

I'm lame, seriously. The BF is slaving away in the kitchen...I'm sipping on an adult beverage and waiting for word from my sister

We have a recipe for a 'Bleeding Mary' made with sriacha sauce. I think it would be tasty if I liked bloody marys but I hate tomato juice. Blecck.

If anyone needs some more Jalapeno Poppers, I can bring them, they're made by McCain Foods here in Appleton (well, their plant is actually located in a suburban township just outside of the city).

I'm here too! Watching Star Wars, drinking sparkling with MW and trying to keep SeaMonkey sleeping.

RJ - you would appreciate our selection tonight. A Blanc de Noirs for moi and MW is sipping a Spago Argento.

It is 10:30 and you are still here! Congratulations!

I guess the rules about double posting and post padding are expected to be observed now. My bad.

I'm so naughty. Must be the bubbly.

Details, please. I need a description. Nutty? Dry?

I struggle with finding blanc de noirs on the panhandle.

It's 9:30 in Big D and I'm trying to figure out if I'm even going to attempt to make to midnight. Hubby's turning in early because of the race tomorrow, so I may be sleeping on the couch if I stay up too late.

Beer is the alcohol of choice tonight. Alaskan Winter Brew is mighty tasty this cold and wet night.

A tad fruity and quite dry. This is my first, so I have no comparison but I am thoroughly enjoying it! Gruet Winery.

I remember Chet and I agreeing more than once: NYE is amateur night. Stay home.

RIP, Chet. We miss you too, dude.

It should be dry and lightly fruity. Good call. How about the color? Slightly pink in color?

Albuquerque? Really. Hell, I drink anything.

Seriously, this sounds like a fascinating wine worthy of attention.

    No Maister-pester

The NYEve event where I play in the opening act usually includes a performance by Maister's old-time radio buddies. I wasn't able to go looking for it, and did not see it in the program.

    But I did find this:

yes that's my other good side, taken last year
