    Very happy. Thank you!
I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

I didn't go this year. Went to Philly last month for a conference, and then moved our offices to City Hall, and staff vacations, etc. just made for chaos. How was it?

but I guess in residential areas they're lanes. I don't know, I don't say lane.

Anyyyywhoooooooo I kind of didn't know this was a Vancouver-only type of thing. Thats interesting.
I have possibly chosen the worst research topic on the planet then.
    Go me.
Chicago has alleys for nearly every street. You see the occasional coach house but for the most part its just garages.

It was ok. Jeff Speck told us that sprawl was bad and that we as planners should refuse to work on anything but urban mixed use projects. Overall, I think it was a good value for the money. Besides, I got to see all sorts of fiends, classmates, and former coworkers.

I even stopped in to my old stomping grounds to tell Maister that there was an in operable truck and the Holliday Inn, and that Obama sucks. It was nice to visit with him for a bit... Until Ms. Cash told me that I was going grey. I explained it was the color of wisdom.
Me: "I am sorry, but the Ordinance and the Master Plan does not permit that at this time. But if you would like to request amendments, this 355 page document outlines the procedure. You will need…. (CLIPPED TO ACCOMMODATE LIMIT) …. It will likely take 36 to 48 months to get final approvals. Then you can submit for a building permit and break ground Would you like to get started with the process?

Applicant: "Geeze, a simple No you can't do that would have worked"

or... of literature on laneway housing.........
Yes we have that here in sydney. Mainly 'studios' or as we call them 'fonzi' flats where the dwelling/studio is above the garage. Existing inner city areas have them and some new housing subdivisions.

I used some of ZG's volume mousse on my hair this morning. Turned out good....I guess that admission will take some points off my man-card.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.
