MW is staying home for a little while. We haven't decided how long yet, but I am already feeling the pinch and noting the retirement delay. Still, I too would love to be a stay home mom!

Drumline, specifically the bass drum. The bass line played cool stuff though, not just quarternotes I also played drumset for the Jazz band, and percussion in the lead concert band.

And I cannot think of any good stories of the top of my head, but the drummers were the cool bunch. Granted, high school is full of pubescent caused drama, but nothing directly comes to mind. I'll tell random band stories through the RTDOTOTO though

...Morning Edition uses that genre behind a story about college bowl games and you recognize what band it must be playing the tune thanks to Hink's location tagline.

Looks like someone has a case of the Mondays, on Wednesday. This cloudy weather isn't helping me get in gear, hopefully this second cup of joe will. Nothing like having to cram 5 days of work into 3 on top of being on the phone half of the next three days.

I often see links for jobs up there in Traverse City and though I generally don't want to move outside of a major metro area, that is one of the few isolated cities I would consider. However, convincing my wife to make the move too would be a different story. Sometimes I think about just applying so that maybe I can get an interview and have an excuse for spending a day or two up there...
