I found you a new motto from a sign hanging on their wall…"Drink coffee: do stupid things faster and with more energy"

Sometimes I think iTunes is becoming sentient. On my way into work this morning, it randomly played:

People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

I like that they parked all the white cars together (must be all gov't cars) to make the appearance of stripes.

...Morning Edition uses that genre behind a story about college bowl games and you recognize what band it must be playing the tune thanks to Hink's location tagline.
Locally, this was followed by something similar, and the on-air host said something about letting that play all day. Yes please!
Honor guard...salute!

Looks like someone has a case of the Mondays, on Wednesday. This cloudy weather isn't helping me get in gear, hopefully this second cup of joe will. Nothing like having to cram 5 days of work into 3 on top of being on the phone half of the next three days.
Wish me luck - *slinks back into the salt mine*

I finally said goodbye to my last blackberry device yesterday and picked up the new Samsung galaxy SIII. I am posting from it right now.

"Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."

I often see links for jobs up there in Traverse City and though I generally don't want to move outside of a major metro area, that is one of the few isolated cities I would consider. However, convincing my wife to make the move too would be a different story. Sometimes I think about just applying so that maybe I can get an interview and have an excuse for spending a day or two up there...

Has anyone here taken the GRE since 2011?
Trying to get a sense of how much has changed since the 2007 version.

...cuz you want to take it again or just cuz you like to keep up on major tests and how they change over time?![]()
I'm going to take the Millers Analogy easy way out this spring and try to get admitted to an executive program and get an MPA because I have decided I don't enjoy being poor as much as I thought I would.![]()

I picked up some dried mangos at World Market a few days back. I opened them this morning and they are almost gone. Why are they so tasty?
