But you can get “a ton of food” (steak and shrimp included) prepared by “some fairly sophisticated culinary people,”

What does that even mean?! I can't even imagine spending $37.50 a person at Applebee's.

rcgplanner, it's literally a magnitude worse:
    $375/person.

I'm going to have to go look for a toxedo -- I'm in a backwater here but there are a lot of brownfields locally, so I might have a chance...

Hope everyone has a great 2014! See you all on the flip side!

Darn, I missed all the fun.

$375 at Applebee's?!? No thank you. We had a very nice dinner at the tavern tonight.

    I love the Great Lakes.
I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

Everyone want to hit the goal.... once we get there, it dies off I love it.

They have all been having a great time together for the last few days while I have trudged off to the office each day because time off isn't just a free thing I can get all the time. They all keep whining at me to "just take a sick day" and hang out with them, but as the main provider in the family (the only one with health insurance and a decent wage) it just isn't that simple.

And yet, who was up earliest this morning, who did all of the dishes, who took the pile of recycling somebody had started on the back landing and got it all sorted and put out in the bin, so nobody else will trip over it again on their way to the basement? Who wolfed down his breakfast in the last 30 seconds before bolting out the door to make it to work on time?
I feel your pain man. Although we were granted Christmas Eve and New Years Eve off by our division supervisor (who is on vacation), all of us came to work because it's end of quarter and some projects had deadlines. T

Insane. Maybe next year I will start my push a couple days earlier. With how much trouble I had this year, I don't know that I think 14k is even possible.

I have taken a leak there, in that very waterfall. In 1971. I love the Madonna.
