I thought netball was primarily played by women? My ex-girlfriend played in high school in Melbourne, so I got to learn how to play here in the States. Her brother also taught me Cricket. Both have lots in common with basketball and baseball, but are completely different.Actually slightly interesting story (perhaps)- work sanctioned Netball competition (you may may have to google what 'netball' is- apart from you Canadians) strategic planning team (plus an assessment officer) v engineers in the final. Close match, engineers up at half time. Strat plan making a come back, i go to catch a ball, got knocked by an engineer in mid air and my foot lands on his foot, with my ankle rolling over it. That was in the first week of December. Its still swollen and i had an MRI on Thursday which says i have an prominent osteochondral impaction fracture of the talar neck, whatever that means, and ligament damage for a mild sprain (so really not that bad), but it hurts to wear heels. Off to the doctor to see it all means next week.

After painting a few weeks ago we spent this afternoon hanging pictures and art in our dining room and living room. It looks really nice. The only problem is that it really highlights how old the kitchen looks. I don't think the kitchen has been done since the 60s or 70s. We had been playing up the vintage feel but that isn't really working when the rest of the house is contemporary.

Family vacation. I admit I'm a lousy vacation planner. I never know what to go see or what not to bother seeing. I figure in N Korea I won't be burdened with a lot of choices as they will take the family on a 'guided' tour and tell me what I can and can't take pictures of and when I'm experiencing fun.
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

Also, book your hovel early. Those things really should only sleep 2, but end up with around 50 in each.
