That was in the first week of December. Its still swollen and i had an MRI on Thursday which says i have an prominent osteochondral impaction fracture of the talar neck, whatever that means, and ligament damage for a mild sprain (so really not that bad), but it hurts to wear heels. Off to the doctor to see it all means next week.

and yes the engineers won the match
I thought netball was primarily played by women? My ex-girlfriend played in high school in Melbourne, so I got to learn how to play here in the States. Her brother also taught me Cricket. Both have lots in common with basketball and baseball, but are completely different.

We went with an Epson, WF 2540. Because we're not computer nerds, we still can't get it to connect to our wireless network. It's frustrating.

Yes it is primarily played by women, but mixed games are becoming more common too. Means everyone can play, also means it can become dangerous when people don't understand the no contact rule!

After painting a few weeks ago we spent this afternoon hanging pictures and art in our dining room and living room. It looks really nice. The only problem is that it really highlights how old the kitchen looks. I don't think the kitchen has been done since the 60s or 70s. We had been playing up the vintage feel but that isn't really working when the rest of the house is contemporary.

RT is on her way. Geography major, works in community development, and wants to be an environmental planner. I hope there is more money in that.

Planning a conference there or family vacation ?
Family vacation. I admit I'm a lousy vacation planner. I never know what to go see or what not to bother seeing. I figure in N Korea I won't be burdened with a lot of choices as they will take the family on a 'guided' tour and tell me what I can and can't take pictures of and when I'm experiencing fun.
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

Airfare is cheap to N.Korea. There are always open seats.

Also, book your hovel early. Those things really should only sleep 2, but end up with around 50 in each.

And a hint... bring your own food. It is impossible to get a meal in N. Korea.

We're in the market for a replacement. The question is: Best Buy or Sam's Club?
Also, I took my Samsung Chromebook to the repair folks yesterday...should have it back in about a week. Don't buy this product. Too fragile.
My wife bought an HP wireless about a year and a half ago for her home office. It also recently died.

She also was just given a Chromebook by her boss for when she's recruiting/hiring in the field. I'll let her know.

I've been fascinated with the idea of taking a trip to North Korea. There's probably some good discounts during the winter. Still, I'm looking to Ireland or Iceland for February or March. I gotta' go before I get my tax refund or three paycheck m,month, when my curse of having an unanticipated expense that costs exactly the same as the extra money I get will inevitably come up.

Things where the secondary use is often the primary use

    cigar boxes = pencil cases
    bubble wrap = therapy
    margarine tubs = leftovers storage

Feeling kinda down a little too this morning, listening to the soothing English sound that is David Gray.

My plants were even droopy this morning, so I gave them all plant sticks...looking at sad plants is not helping.
