Attention men of Cyburbia - resist responding to this, okay?

I spent an hour debating the need for porn with a former town attorney this monring by email so I have lost my raunchy sense of humor for a little while (give me an hour or two and I will be back...)

Two more workmen just walked in and I have no idea why they are here. Maybe they just wanted to watch the electrician use the largest drill I've ever seen...

Ever'body's gotta get enough credits, and this here 'Hatha yoga' class will help ya git 'em. Now if you're anything like us folks in admin, you're probably wonderin' what the hell hatha yoga is - turns out you sit around in a circle and try to get into the most uncomfortable position ya possibly can. Now before y'all give us the one-finger salute, you probably should know this here's a class a lotta young wimmen take. And these young wimmen are usually wearin' tights and we gotta say some of them uncomfortable poses are mighty interesting if you catch our drift....
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

Fortunately mine wasn't that bad of timing since the department is now in a rebuilding phase after our new director came in. I recently shifted divisions within the department after someone left 2 months ago; just the responsibilities for that position I'm in still aren't nailed down yet. So they're losing my GIS abilities but not much else

Have to say it's kind of frustrating to be in a position where they really want you but at the same time have no idea what they want to do with you. I think the new director will finally give this department the direction it needs so I'm a bit sad I don't get to see how things turn out. Just I'm not going to pass up a great opportunity in the hopes of things improving around here.

We still have some of hubby's business cards from, uhhhh, 3 or maybe 4 jobs ago. We use them for note paper and fire kindling.

I burned all of my business cards from my last place of employment.

I should probably make lunch before we lose power.

    That one was quite tempting!

I hope RJ doesn't mind ZG being surrounded by all these men with their big drills.

My mind is usually in the gutter by default. The FAC does nothing but contribute to this.

That doesn't sound safe. Aren't you worried that your mind will get eaten by racoons?

So what should I do with my framed AICP certificate now that they kicked me out for not paying dues? Hang it up on the wall anyways? Frame the nastigram kicking me out letter and hang it next to it? As much as I have animosity towards APA and the whole AICP thing, I'm not sure I want to just shred the credential. It's on some pretty nice paperstock.

You can tell me about your dreams as we drive across country together. When we get to Toledo we can stop and share our interpretations with ts. I'll bet Veloise would come down to hear it all, too.

oh come on, bag the scruples - even over the last 25 years of being happy and being not, I never went without with him - you have to have something good going, right?
