After gorging ourselves at Harold's Famous Deli to celebrate a friend's birthday, RT and I are at Panera to do work/homework. Guess I am the sucker in my office....but then again, I like job security.

    Louisville Courier-Journal article -

Place in the heart for maps that fold
    http://www.courier-journal.com/viewa...eart-maps-fold

there was a new curse in the world.
The curse was maps, specifically foldable maps — and more specifically still, maps that, once unfolded, could never be folded up again.

Funny, you and a few others have been encouraging Cybs close to a new 1000 or so; a few years ago, I did the same thing and got slammed by the mods.

They are tasty and a common fare food in the Southwest. You can add anything from taco toppings to honey.

I saw an awesome recipe for spring vegetables and pasta on America's Test Kitchen yesterday. I can hardly wait for our asparagus harvest now.
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. I've been living in March since the start of January, I'm starting to think about April already. Deconflicting 5 similar projects on the same timeline is HARD.

ts has been pretty quiet on FB lately as well. I'm sure it's just life getting in the way of Cyburbia fun.

When does one harvest asparagus? Is it a plant that you cut off and it regrows or do you have to start with a new plant every year?

Asparagus is one of a handful of perennial vegetables, which means it regrows new spears every year from the same crown/roots. Here in Michigan harvest usually lasts for about a 7-8 week period in May-June. Typically, an asparagus crown is good for about 20 years or more before you have to replant. It's one of the reasons I'm such a big fan of asparagus.

I'll still be here; just not on this thread or in FAC. I am gearing up to be more serious on non-FAC threads - it's going to be rough but I have to get the milestone before Hink...

Ok since you brought up V-day expectations -

Today is National Satisfied Staying Single Day

Glad I don't have to spend any money, time or emotions for V-day and on flowers, candy, dining, etc.

I had meetings all morning... that doesn't bode well for my feud with LP. Maybe this afternoon will be more forgiving....

It's good to live in the South. The flowers are already coming up. Just pick 'em and run.
