My guess is 4 original kittens. The rest are a figment of our imagination.

I heard a radio interview with Dave Barry this morning. He has a new novel out that sounds hilarious. Now if I can find the slip of paper I wrote it on...

At first, I thought the interviewee was Carl Hiaasen, because of the absurd subject matter (and Florida). Until the interviewer mentioned Carl Hiaasen's name.

I had to travel a long distance to a doctor's appointment this morning, so I've only been working for about 4 hours today. Then why am I so tired??

    Crap. It's snowing.

We have to start sponsoring [fill in the blank] Awareness Days here on Cyburbia. Too much gets taken for granted. What needs more awareness

    So far we have:
mucous, Andorra, origami, Pete Athas, formica counters, forgotten pop tunes, Delaware, monotremes....

    What else do we need?
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

Sorry, local ad from the 80's for a terrible Mexican restuarant in Tucson.

I always find it funny thatsome people think a burrito or "wrap" is healthy. What's even funnier is someone had the bright idea to fry a burrito.

Why does Gordo open so many restaurants while Flaco rarely does.

Compared to other options it can be somewhat healthy, so long as its not deep fried lol.

If you want healthy you should not eat a restaurants with a drive thru or a place that serves more beer than food. I treat my body like a low end carnival so I eat and drink at those places all of the time.

There are people who actually grew up in Florida??

    I like #26 and #28.

I bet Carl Hiaasen could come up with an alternative list.

Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?

No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

Pretty standard conditions outside the dense urban cores. You see all representations of the animal kingdom on the roads in India and Sri Lanka. This explains the real deal

Yes zg & b-b - each of the items are true from growing up in Florida. I'm going to send that link to my brothers.

As for Dan's video - let's play dodge-cycle or dodge-cow, but I kept waiting for something to happen like you see on the Russian dash-cam videos.
