    Interesting Facts about Cyburbia

Since I seem to always be scouring the site for data, I figured I would put it in one place.

Feel free to post any interesting data you have about the site. I think this would also be a great place to figure out some more demographic information, etc. I will edit this post to add the information about when everyone joined Cyburbia, ages, and any other post I can find that references data.

    Here's a few for youse.

There were 11,030 attempts to register to Cyburbia in the past 30 days. Only 93 were legitimate non-spamming humans. Last month, most spambot attempts (not human spammers) were from Russia, Ukraine, China, Germany, Netherlands, France, and Poland. A smaller number were from the United States, Canada and Lebanon. Some other countries were also among the mix.

831 Cyburbia usernames include the word "plan" somewhere in them. Of those, 513 include "planner", and 80 include "planning".

187 usernames include "urban", 90 "city", 66 "town", and 3 "village".

79 usernames include "girl", 3 "woman", and 3 "grrl". 55 include "boy". 495 include "man", but the majority aren't in the context of gender; many include place names, family names, parts of names like "Amanda" (included in 19 user names), and so on.

Interesting. How many were illegitimate non-spamming humans? I don't remember being asked about my parents marital status.

I wonder if I hold the record for most polls? If not, maybe I need to go on a blitz like was done with RTDNTOTO from Dec 29-31. Like most things related to getting into the Guinness Book of Records these days, the key is to find the right niche to claim for oneself.

Maybe I, too, should consider a new user name, beginning with Y: Yak Princess? Yankee Planner?

I don't think he had 9K posts. I think he was one of 9 clubers with a name starting with S.

Out of the two I would vote for Yak Princess. But what about Yellow-Bellied Princess (after the bird, not your courage).

    Haha! That just might work!

There's also Yellow-Breasted... but that term is more appropriate to birds than humans...

    Did you know...

Cyburbia has an exclusive clube for those eternal slackers? It's true. You are clubbed when you slack just the right amount. If you are new, you should achieve such high accolades as to join the clube. If you are old, you should try to be more like our professional slackers and see if you can get in the CluBe, which is a much more exclusive version of the Clube. Check out the stats below.

    - The Cyburbia Clube has 113 members in total.

    The breakdown is as follows:

    Clube (1k) - 38
    Clubbe (2k) - 21
    Clubbbe (3k) - 16
    Clubbbbe (4k) - 12
    Clubbbbbe (5k) - 5
    Clubbbbbbe (6k) - 6
    Clubbbbbbbe (7k) - 5
    Clubbbbbbbbe (8k) - 4
    Clubbbbbbbbbe (9k) - 1
    CluBe (10k) - 0
    CluBbe (11k) - 1
    CluBbbe (12k) - 2
    CluBbbbe (13k) - 0
    CluBbbbbe (14k) - 2

The Youngest Member being TerraSapient having joined 2009-11-10. So proud to have you all in the clube.

The real question here is whether or not I can think of enough things to say to make it to the clubbe before someone else makes the clube?

What is that? Is Dr. Greene calling?

Having never read this thread, it sounds like I must change my name to fit in with the "plan" crowd and the name must start with X or Y if I want a chance to be listed. Too bad I'm not that inventive on naming myself.
