Greetings from Northern Victoria - Australia

    Hi folks,

I'm originally Canadian (chartered with CIP and it's provincial equivalent) but made a career move and I'm now on my second year working in a northern Victorian Council in Australia.

I'm in my early 30s and have been practicing for a few years in the province of Quebec following my graduation in Town Planning (MA) and in Geography (BSc) (focused on environment and transport) while also having done part of my studies in Belgium.
I also previously did internship/consultancy in Ethiopia on behalf of CIDA.

I'm currently mainly working in Statutory and Compliance (lots of compliance) in Australia but did Strategic work and drafting regulations while working for municipalities and counties in Canada.

BTW, my partner and I are sometimes visiting the in-laws in Kansas. As such, I'm certainly interested in the midwest approaches if we ever happen to consider relocating there.

    Regards
    Pat

Welcome from the Great State of Ohio! I spent some time in Melbourne, and love Victoria. Glad to have you.

    Hello, from Dallas, TX!
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011
