    Anybody else remember the old Japanese superhero series, Ultraman? I'll bet it's just as bad now as it was in the late 60's.

    From what I understand, it has gotten much much better. Dorm rooms all across the country are filled with kids skipping classes to watch that show.
    People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

    Back in the 60's, we used to stay up until 2 a.m. to watch re-runs of Highway Patrol with Broderick Crawford. Here's part of an episode with a young Leonard Nimoy playing a heavy.
