CDC’s National Public Health Tracking Network is a system of integrated health, exposure, and hazard information and data from a variety of national, state, and city sources. The network has added to its existing Community Design module “Access to Parks” data for the United States. The data provide a better picture of the access people have to recreational spaces. The data can also help in understanding how improving access to healthy spaces such as parks might encourage people to exercise more frequently.
