I was hoping you could give me an honest appraisal for Master's in Real Estate programs I would be competitive for:
3.2 undergrad economics major / spanish minor (graduated in three years)
3.2 master's of science in finance
710 GMAT (feel like I could bring this up if I need to)
3 years of experience in Investment Sales / Equity Advisory. Sold office, industrial and multi dirt at one of the top three brokerages in a tertiary market. Also did equity recaps and some smaller note sales
Passed all three levels of the CFA but don't have the charter due to experience reqs
Active in NAIOP
Golden gloves boxer, not a champion or anything
So where would I be competitive? Where's a reach, safety?
I'd obviously be interested the top programs at MIT, Columbia, USC, Cornell, NYU etc but I'm not sure where I fit in there.
I've got a little bit of a man crush on the accelerated dual degree MBA/MPS in RE so if anyone has any insight on that program in particular I'd appreciate it.
I'm in between applying this coming up year (to start in fall '14) and finding a new job, getting some more experience and then applying a couple years from now.
Thanks all and have a great night.
