I just call it another reason not to live up there.

We got screwed we were supposed to get about 6" all we got was a heavy dusting!

Yes I have experienced a nor-Easterner. I had to attend a meeting in Port Huron one morning and left Detroit without any snow. 40 minutes up the road (and on Lac Huron), they were getting dumped on! Made me glad that the worst we could get from that direction is off of Lac St. Clair.

Its a snowmaggedon if the reports are correct. But not the first, and probably not the last.

I'm partial to "Mr. Snowypants" or just "Jimbo"
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

Hello, I'm Mr. Plow. Are you tired of having your hands cut off by snowblowers and the inevitable heart attacks that come with shoveling snow?

Although we won't get near the snowfall as our fellow northerly Cyburbians, we've had alternating wet heavy snow and sleet for most of the day. We had a bit of a lull around dinner time but it's starting up again. The worst will hit us overnight and into mid morning. It took me about 30 minutes to drive home a distance of 3 miles this afternoon.
