    What would L P do?

To help everyone through their L P withdrawls, put up a situation and answer, "What would LP do?"

I'll throw out a softball, I have to give an orientation to commissioners who can't figure out the difference between zoning and real estate law.
    What would LP do?
I don't pretend to understand Brannigan's Law. I merely enforce it.

I believe she would compose a haiku like this one:
    Your plat restrictions
    And silly HOA rules
    don't trump city Code
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

I forgot my sandwich for lunch, and have only $0.89 and a jolly rancher in my pocket. What would LP do?

LP would ask if that's a Jolly Rancher in your pocket or if you're just happy to see her. You're on your own for lunch suggestions.

Then she would give me a Post of the Day award.

I have two meetings today, and our conference room is booked.

Clearly, you cancel the meetings, get some chinese takeout and start home for an early weekend. It's Valentine's Day, and you didn't give up everything for Lent. That's what LP'd do.

I saw a bumper sticker that said "Who would LP bomb?". At least I think that's what it said. Who would LP bomb? Maybe she would not bomb anyone cause she's cool like that.

I'm barbecuing baby back ribs for our Valentine's Day dinner. I could keep drinking jug wine or I could peruse the the wine rack and open a premium bottle. What would LP do?

Throw out the ribs, and get a seafood boil going stat. Break open a bottle of Pinot Gregio and pour out just a bit for her homies.

It's cold here on the panhandle this morning. I could venture out to get the newspaper and grab a soda from the fridge for ZG like I do every morning or I could wait for her to wake up and get her own damn 'paper and soda.

    What would lp do?

LP may be a risk taker, but she knows her limits. Put on long pants and long sleeves (because to LP, it's not THAT cold on the Panhandle) and go pick up the paper.

    Don't forget the slippers.

Within the next couple of days, we'll be having French onion soup for dinner.

Would lp pour red or white wine for that meal?

Lp would pour a lighter-bodied red, such as a pinot noir. "Lighter-bodied," of course, having nothing to do with her, um, feet.

I have to decide between going to my son's cub scout troop banquet (it's actually for the Webolos, not my kids den but they were invited) tonight or babysitting a skittish director for their first night radio show rehearsal. WWLPD?
