Greetings all,

I am new to the forum, but hope that I might ask a few questions concerning my research.
Currently, I am investigating links between Soviet city planning in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s, and also the transmission of city planning ideas from the Soviet Union to its satellite states.

In particular, I am looking for two things:

1. Books, articles, and maps related to the transmission of ideas about urban planning from French architects like Corbusier and others to the Soviets in the 20s and 30s. I have not been able to find any books or articles related to this as yet.

2. Soviet city planning manuals that feature and/or include elements of the Paris city layout (such as the Grand Axis and also the two axes that go across the river Seine), and Paris architecture.

Any thoughts, ideas, input and direction are GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks very much,
Bruce
