I'm interested in examples of newly developed urban parks (of, say, at least an acre) surrounded by streetfront retail, especially as part of new developments. Obviously, there are some examples that are traditional conditions, like Union Square in San Francisco, but I'm mainly looking for cases where this was done intentionally as part of new master plans or TODs and contemporary retail configurations. Park is new and is carved out of a very difficult and gigantic intersection in the middle of downtown. The park itself has literally brought development around it which includes retail and office space. Prior to the park being there this was one of the deadest parts of the central business district. Now it is one of the liveliest. The Park has won awards from PPS, APA and ULI.
I have also been to St. Stephen's Green, it is in the heart of Dublin and is surrounded by retail. It does not quite fit the bill as it has been full forever.
The City of Plymouth Michigan has a lot of Retail around its park as well, but it is also older. The park itself has played a key roll in revitalization of the once sleepy town.

Lifestyle centers (real ones, not just a pseudo street) often contain these features. Bayshore Mall in the Milwaukee area, and Bel Mar in the Denver area are examples. I have pictures if you need them.
