Congrats, I've also been accepted. Waiting on the financial aid package/official letter. I'm considering it, but still no completely sure about it. Do you know about the terminal project and what it encompasses? Is it a group project? More academic/thesis style?

    I'm also waiting on Hunter.

I'm considering U of O and will be visiting during Open House this week. I'm from SF so we'll see if I can handle Eugene. lol

Though like many on this board, I've not made up my mind yet. So I'm doing my visits.

I don't think it's a group project but I'll have to ask someone there to clarify

This is from the grad website
A terminal project is a presentation embodying the knowledge and skills acquired from course work completed for the master's degree. There is no set format for a terminal project; the appropriate format is determined by the student in consultation with the adviser. The terminal project is presented to the department.

I'm from the area too, maybe we have the same concerns about Eugene. I won't be able to make it to the open house but will be there Saturday. Share your thoughts about the open house!

Thanks, couldn't find it on the website. I'm almost 100% percent positive I'll be going to U of O in the fall. Pretty excited about moving to the Pacific Northwest for a few years.
