PLANNING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
The Town of Selma is seeking a Planning and Economic Development Director to be responsible for the Town’s planning, economic development, code enforcement, and building inspection programs. Applicant should have thorough knowledge of modern principles and practices of planning and the ability to develop innovative solutions to land use and economic development issues. Serve as staff support to various Town boards and commissions. Must be an effective public speaker and have the ability to work well with citizens, other agencies and employees. Strong organizational and time management skills are a must. Requires a four-year degree in planning or related field, AICP certification preferred. The starting salary range is $51,706.74 to $55,682.50 depending on experience. A Town application can be obtained online at www.selma-nc.com.
