Moving to a new place: Regular Internet or wireless hotspot?

I am thinking of trying one of these new wireless hotspots instead of the standard internet connection with wireless router. Any thoughts on which might be better?

You have to be pretty aware of the allowed bandwidth and data limits for the wireless hotspots. I know several people who tried them and ended up paying more that for a standard connection.

I'd go with regular internet. The tech on the wireless hotspots still has a way to go. Regular internet, depending on your company, is still more reliable.
