    Thread/forum read marking type

Normally, cookies keep track of what forums, threads and posts you've read on Cyburbia. I just reconfigured the site so that information is kept in the database. This way, it's consistent across all the browsers and computers you might use when you visit; home, work, and mobile.

Forums are automatically marked as read when the last new thread is read. All threads where the last new post is older than 30 days is also marked as read. This means no thread with a new post in the last 30 days will be marked as read unless you actually read it. No matter how often you log in or out of the forum.

This might create some confusion at first, because the site will show you'll have a bunch of unread posts. In time, this change will make it easier to keep track of what you've read and what you haven't.

I thought I was going crazy. Glad to see that it wasn't this that is making me crazy. Thanks!

I have no idea what to read and what to avoid.... I suspect the non FAC threads will be dead for 30 days if that's the case Dan.
