    Gas stations/convenience stores on corners

I need some help. Major time crunch and was just asked to find some examples of convenience stores that have gas islands that are not setback so far from the corner. I'm well aware of the hissy fit the developer will have when we ask them to move the building closer to the corner so I'd love to be able to say "well, they do it here and it seems to work." Any pics and location would be great. Thanks all.

I am not clear on what you are asking. Do you want the gas islands close to the corner, or are you wanting the building on the corner with the gas islands behind?
Anyone want to adopt a dog?

Sorry. Yes, looking for examples where the building is pushed up to the corner and the islands behind. Literally 10 things to get done this morning and just was asked for this. Thanks.

I PM my examples to you - pump islands on the front or side, with building on side or set back.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

    Here is one......

    Bakersfield CA

The building has a gas station, "bakery" and café: pumps are under the canopy.

The street level view is not bad, but I couldn't determine what was in the building until I went inside. Oh and the gas is really expensive. Shell Gas Station

Until I zoomed out and saw the university campus (assuming there is decent foot traffic from that, but maybe not), I was about to pen a rant about how this type of thing gave planners a bad name. Forcing (presumably) an urban design where the surroundings are entirely suburban and auto-oriented.

There seems to be a good deal of walk in traffic in the area from the campus. Having the building so close to the street and without an inviting façade makes it a bit strange for my taste. It would be nice to have an entrance on the street side for the bakery and café at least. It kind of defeats the purpose of having a street side façade when you can't access the building.
