    Introduction

    Hi everyone!

I'm a Finn living and studying in Newcastle upon Tyne (England). I'm about to enter my senior year of Bachelor's degree in Town Planning. Although I have enjoyed my time in England tremendously, I am looking forward to doing my Master's degree somewhere else (the Netherlands, Sweden or Finland).
I have always been interested in people's mobility and how it has changed over time. I want to do my Master's in Transport Planning and hopefully I'll be able to move into the US and work there one day. We'll see.

Greetings from the Florida panhandle. My dad's parents immigrated from Suomi.
A nuisance may be merely a right thing in the wrong place — like a pig in the parlor instead of the barnyard.

    Hello, from Dallas, !
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011
