These were taken last Thursday afternoon (July 4th) and Friday morning. The CBD is sad--it would seem to have so much potential. I can't explain all the vacant storefronts. Maybe it needs a brewpub. In any case, we recommend a visit to this historic community.

Great pictures! I have heard Natchez is a great city to visit. Mississippi, being the progressive state that it is, just passed a law allowing for home brewing...the 50th state to do so. MS has the fewest breweries 3 and the fewest per capita in the country. Hopefully this new law will change that.
