My name is James Izurieta. I'm an IT service management process professional at Columbia University with almost 20 years in the IT field, pursuing an urban planning/policy degree part-time. My background includes managing large teams, developing service metrics, KPIs, statistical analysis and process governance. I'm looking forward to leveraging my metrics and project management skills into a planner/researcher/informatics role. I'm a 4th generation native New Yorker, and we're raising the 5th in Brooklyn. Outside of our ideals, cities are the best manifestation of our civilization (for better or for worse). I trend technocratic progressive in my thinking, but not exclusively so. If there's anything that I can answer, please let me know. Finding this forum was a welcome surprise, thanks!
