Anyone know the Hiring Process of NYC DEP

Hello Everyone I am knew to this site and would like anyone feedback on the the hiring process of the City of NY Dept of Environmental Protection. I was told by the Hiring Manager that they like me earlier this month, and the process should take about a month or so. I do not live in the 5 NYC Boroughs and would be required to move within 90 days of my start date. My question is what is the next steps? I would told the position would need to go through an approval process. I was only given an application that ask for my Current Salary at my present employer and a form to sign about NYC Residency requirements.

What are the next steps from there normally? I appreciate your help.

I do not know the specific hiring process, but being around the city mainly (DCP) for the past year I have heard that it can take a very long time. From what I have heard OMB can take months to process paper work, they are suppose to be quicker than they used to be, but it can still take a while.
