Repsonsiblities:
· Applying land use policies and legislation when writing encroachment plans to reduce adverse impact (e.g., noise, waste, air pollution) to surrounding areas
· Working with appropriate officials (e.g., local, state and federal political structures and local business enterprises) to write a more informed organizational encroachment plan.
· Proposing long term land-use strategies that take into account the organization's future mission and community development trends and policies
· Serving as installation representative for managing intergovernmental and interagency issues regarding operational mission sustainment, encroachment and land use planning.
· Assisting component commands/tenant commanders in identifying and validating mission sustainment requirements.
