    What's your resting face

Taking out the misogyny of asking a female to smile more, we all do have a resting face that does emit your personality even if it is not accurate in your mind of who you are

so what do you think is your resting face and/or what have others said are your resting face

    wait for the poll

My resting face has been described as "a cold smirk" like I'm secretly plotting someone's death.

"Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."

Here's a recent photo of me showing my typical resting face.

People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

You tell me... with and without a beard...
If you want different results in your life, you need to do different things than you have done in the past. Change is that simple.

    You need to smile more.

I have to go with deer in the headlights.

The second pix makes him look like a made man with the mob and he's waiting to wack someone and I don't mean with a hockey stick.

Not sure where my I'm-trying-not-to-show-how-little-I-care face would fall . . .

I don't get told that I need to smile more. I'm polite and smile when introduced and when leaving. And if you're nice/not bitchy/don't cause problems in the meeting, then I might smile then, too.

I've been told my smirk looks evil . . .
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011

My resting face is normally a bored look, but my eyebrows can give that away in a moment. Ah well, I'm going to start smiling like 😁 and see if a grimace gets me points.

I think Michaelskis looks like a cold-blooded killer. Perfect for being a Planning Director as it helps keep ignorant public and Councilmembers from asking too many questions. I personally rock the poker-face as my default. Can't let anybody know what I'm hiding, ya know.

I was always under the impression that Waldo wore a striped shirt. In any event, I believe I have located. him.

Something along the lines of "leave me the fuck alone".
