Well as far was ranked teams playing each other this year, I feel like half of them will have wide point spreads (like last weekend). Certainly these games might be more intriguing, but hell last week's were supposed to be big games.

    #11 Oklahoma State v #22 West Virginia
    #2 Penn State v #6 Ohio State
    #4 Texas Christian v #25 Iowa State
#14 North Carolina State v #9 Notre Dame

It is also interesting that each of these game are going to played in the afternoon - I guess opening the evening & night slots to Game 4 of the World Series.

I'll be in Ames for TCU/ISU. If the Clones can pull it off I will not be right.

We've got a guy in our office who went to Northwestern and is a HUGE Wildcats fan. He's reminding everybody here in Spartan Country about his fandom this morning. I don't really care for MSU so I'm enjoying it.

Might be UGA #1 and Bama #2 for the first week just based on strength of schedule to this point in the season.

Flipped over to that game as soon as Georgia - Florida ended. That was one hell of an entertaining comeback.

    #1 - Georgia
    #2 - Bama
    #3 - Notre Dame
    #4 - Oklahoma
    #5 - Ohio State

As of today. Oklahoma will drop as the Buckeyes beat Iowa, MSU, and Michigan. Once OSU beats Wisconsin they will be in the playoff.

Not sure I think ND is as good as they are ranked, but they played what I think is the best team in the country in Georgia pretty well. Brian Kelly also knows how to screw up a one man parade, so I don't have faith they will win out, but if they do, they should be in.

I hope, for all that is good in this world, that Georgia kills Bama. And Kirby Smart lets Uga poop on the elephant at mid-field (yes I am aware the SEC championship game isn't at Alabama). I just dislike Saban that much

Guess on final top 4 as of today:

    #1 Georiga
#2 ND (or Alabama if they are close to losing to GA)
    #3 Ohio State
    #4 Clemson

I don't think ND is going to be in the top 4. Not yet anyway. God willing they will lose another game. Bama, Georgia, OSU and either Wisconsin or Clemson. Wisconsin has played absolutely no one at all this season and the committee might take that into account. But then Clemson has a bad loss against Syracuse (although they aren't as bad as initially thought). So I guess ND could sneak in there. Doesn't really mean anything at this point anyway.

That's pretty interesting. 14 of the Top 25 teams are playing each other this weekend. There are 130 in all of FBS. I wonder what the record is for the most number of ranked teams playing each other in a given week?

Urban Meyer is in his 6th year at OSU... the same amount he was at Florida.

He was 65-15 at Florida, with two national championships.
He is 68-8 at Ohio State with one national championship.

He is the second best coach in the nation, by far. With that said, he has lost 2 games this year, which is making people go bonkers. Here's to Ohio State trying to get Saban!

    ---

Ohio State fans deserve to take crap today. We are always going to take heat since we are always one of the best teams. I feel the same about Alabama. I cheer whenever they lose. Just because.

So please, enjoy the day. We have hit our average loses for the year, so enjoy it while you can.

I have nothing against tOSU in general, just a disdain for your coach as a person (even though I recognize he's a slightly above average coach). Anyhoo, I'm devoting my focus to hating Auburn this week - never too early to get started with that.

Unless Wisconsin wins the BIG and is still undefeated the BIG may be shut out of the playoff. And even if they are undefeated it might not be enough given their very weak schedule.

Still a lot of ball to be played though. I'm just praying that Notre Dame drops another game. Please please please let that happen.

If you had to pick the top 4, other than Alabama, who would you pick?

I don't think that Michigan will finish in the top 25, unless by some act of God they beat osu at the end of the season. I am not holding my breath.
If you want different results in your life, you need to do different things than you have done in the past. Change is that simple.
