I don't care about any of the teams in the playoff so I was randomly cheering for Oklahoma. I watched all but a bit of the first quarter and it was an entertaining game even if UGA pulled it out. I'd love to see them beat 'Bama in the Championship.

I did watch all of the Outback Bowl - what a disaster for Michigan! Epic meltdown in the second half. It just showed once again how horrible their QB situation was this season.

My in-laws had fantastic tickets for the game but because of some doctors appointments that they wanted to take care of before leaving for Florida for a few months, they offered my wife and me the tickets and were willing to watch our kids if we wanted to drive down or fly down for a few days and go to the game. We were really considering it and making a little vacation out of it but decided not to as we wanted to spend the days off of school/work just hanging around with the kids so we let the tickets go (I think my FIL ended up overnighting them to his niece who lives down there and went to Michigan and was already planning to go to the game but was able to use his tickets as an upgrade). While I would have enjoyed some nice warm(er) weather for a few days, I think I would have been really grumpy if we had driven down there and watched Michigan lose in the fashion that they did.

My niece went to UGA so I have ben told I have to cheer for the 'dawgs. I told her I would but would not wear any UGA paraphernalia.

Well it would be just like Michigan to screw up the Big10 win-a-thon.

Well the SEC has at least two good programs....

With that said, Alabama proved that they should have been in. Clemson looks like they wouldn't have won the Affordable Care Act Bowl.

With out this silly playoff thingy, UCF would've/could've been national champs.

Not really being in a mid-tier conference and their schedule was only slightly weaker than tosu
