What do you work on, when you have nothing to work on?

Do you have little/side projects to keep you busy when you are all caught up or have an extra 30 mins or so of down time?
Work for local govt, some days are slow, and I tend to complete tasks fast.

Scan stuff, file stuff, better organize stuff, make template for things so I can work faster, wipe down the counters, refill the ice machine. You know, the usual.

Honestly, I have never had this problem anywhere I have worked. Life in booming Central Texas, I suppose.

"Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."

Come here, check the news plus I've always got work related projects outside of my normal duties. Finally, when you are in management, you always have something to do.
