    Lost members initiative

Is there a Cyburbian you miss hearing from? One that used to grace our pages with their wit and/or warmth, but for whatever reason very seldom (or never) posts anymore?

I propose each and every one of us send a private message to an absent Cyburbian that they wish would return to active status. It can be as simple and brief as "[fill in name] please return. We miss you1"

It may be months or even years before the recipient sees the PM, but perhaps there's a chance that a few may actually return to post once again if/when they log in and find their PM box is full and see how they are missed. In any event there's nothing to lose by trying.
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

    This message has been sent:

Ursus, we miss you're big haired fun and crazy humor. We need you to post more on Cyburbia.

Courtesy of the committee to bring back Ursus (aka blame Maister for this message).

One need not limit themselves to a single PM. Feel free to send multiple PM's. Maybe one to btrage, ursus, ofos, TerraSapient, and Vancity while you're at it.

Don't forget HomerJ and Brocktoon. I know both those guys are just busy with life. Would be good to have them back again, though.

I wonder what happened with JordanB. For quite some time, I thought he was a putz but he turned out to be cool. The wife and I met up with him about 10 or 11 years ago in Chicago for dinner.
If you want different results in your life, you need to do different things than you have done in the past. Change is that simple.

As I recall, Michellezone had a lot of health issues.

why not! Id love to see more people return to the fold, as a newer member.

    Heres another crazy idea:

How about we also modernize the site, maybe start an instagram, and attract new, younger members too?
