    Your theatrical experiences

Many of your faces appear on screen from time to time as part of local news stories or televised public meetings, but I'm curious what experience y'all might have on stage or screen (or I suppose radio) apart from performance of one's work duties? Anyone ever do community or school theater? Ever appear (even as an extra) in a movie? Participate in a parade?
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

I was part of the crowd in To Kill a Mockingbird in high school. Funny coincidence when you realize where I ended up moving. I also did a couple of scenes in Of Mice and Men for speech team.
When did I go from Luke Skywalker to Obi-Wan Kenobi?

I was in a Valentine's Day play in 4th grade. There's an embarrassing picture somewhere.

As a senior in high school, I escorted a homecoming candidate in a parade down Main Street in the back seat of a Model-T. We did not have public sex.
    Annoyingly insensitive

I was in several annual community theater productions of "A Christmas Carol" as either the ghost of Christmas yet to come (no lines) or Marley's ghost. I was an extra in "The Burning Plain" with Charlize Theron. My scene was in a restaurant and my role was to eat filet mignon. Many takes, many steaks.
